Machined components for instrument projects
Surgical instrument machining may involve customer-defined mechanical components such as handles, fixtures, housings or other parts. The drawing and project documentation determine the manufacturing scope. Machining a component alone does not establish medical-device approval, biocompatibility, sterility or clinical suitability.
Specify the geometry and material
Provide the controlled drawing revision, 3D model when available, material grade and quantity. Identify mating faces, threads, edges, surface requirements and dimensions that affect assembly. If the component has cleaning, corrosion or handling requirements, include the applicable specification rather than relying on a general label.
Definire ispezione e registrazioni
- Critical dimensions, datums and required measurement method
- Material grade and any project-specific traceability record
- Edge, burr and surface-finish acceptance
- Secondary operations, cleaning or packaging requirements
- Reports or documentation required by the customer
Discuss whether the part geometry is appropriate for Fresatura CNC or another process. Confirm what inspection and finishing are included in the quotation.
Keep regulated requirements explicit
Any medical-device classification, design validation, sterilization method, cleanliness limit or regulatory documentation must be supplied and approved by the responsible customer team. Do not infer these from the component name or from machining alone.
For a quote review, submit the controlled drawing, material, quantity, acceptance criteria and documentation needs through the pagina di preventivo per lavorazioni CNC personalizzate.
