List project-required qualifications
State any quality-system certification, supplier approval, regulatory documentation, or audit requirement that applies to the purchase. Ask for current evidence and verify it for the specific supplier and scope; this page does not claim a medical certification.
Set material and traceability requirements
Specify the material grade, condition, lot or heat traceability, and records required by the controlled drawing or contract. Confirm how substitutions and outside processing are approved.
Define inspection, handling, and packaging
List acceptance criteria, required inspection records, cleanliness or handling instructions, labeling, and packaging requirements where applicable. Do not assume these requirements from the phrase medical device machining.
Keep change control documented
