Five-axis machining for custom parts
5 axis CNC machining services may suit parts with features across multiple faces, angled surfaces or geometries that need a planned sequence of operations. The right process depends on the drawing, material and acceptance requirements. Jucheng provides machining for customer parts and does not sell machine tools.
Define the part and its interfaces
Provide the current drawing and 3D model with revision status. Identify the material grade, quantity, datums, mating interfaces and dimensions that control fit or function. Note any angled or multi-face features that need to be considered in the setup plan.
Make the quote comparable
- Use one drawing revision and material assumption
- State order quantity and any repeat-order expectations
- List surface finish, coating and masked areas
- Mark critical dimensions and inspection evidence
- Clarify secondary operations, packaging and freight
This page covers the broad service scope. For the specific milling operation, see 5-axis CNC milling services. For prototype-focused requests, see five-axis CNC prototyping.
Confirm feasibility against the drawing
A service label does not promise a particular tolerance, machine model, lead time or result on every part. State the measurable requirements and ask the supplier to review assumptions and exclusions. Any proposed design or material change should be approved by the customer.
For a quote, submit the drawing package, material, quantity, finish, inspection needs and destination.
