Define where the bracket mounts
Aerospace bracket machining should begin with the assembly context. Show the connected components, mounting faces, fasteners, clearances and loads defined by the responsible designer. A bracket label does not prove flight approval or structural capability.
Make geometry measurable
Provide a controlled model and drawing with datums, hole locations, threads, slots and critical dimensions. Specify material grade, quantity, finish and any surface treatment. Identify how each function-critical feature should be inspected and reported.
- State part number, revision and build stage.
- Mark mounting interfaces and datum references.
- Specify material and required documentation.
- List inspection reports and acceptance limits.
- Identify outsourced operations and program approvals.
Confirm process and approval scope
Ask which operations are proposed for the geometry and which site performs them. Verify certificates and customer approvals separately. Machining alone does not demonstrate load capacity, aircraft conformity or flight safety.
For structural component requirements, see авиационные конструкционные детали. For precision evidence, review прецизионная обработка для аэрокосмической отрасли.
Align acceptance before release
Keep the drawing, inspection plan and purchase order aligned. Repeat the agreed fit checks if a mounting interface changes.
