Confirm the POM grade for the part
Acetal (POM) is available in different grades and formulations. The material name alone may not identify the stock required. Specify the grade and condition on the drawing or material specification; if it is undecided, separate material selection from the machining request.

Review functional features before quotation
- Identify mating faces, bores, holes, threads and datum relationships.
- Call out thin walls, slots, pockets and small internal radii.
- Specify surface finish, deburring and any secondary operation.
- State the drawing revision, quantity and required inspection records.
Acceptance depends on the actual part drawing and agreed measurement scope. If the component works against another part, show the interface dimensions and identify which features control assembly. Do not rely on an unqualified generic tolerance statement.
Send a drawing-based request
Provide the current model and drawing, POM grade, quantity, critical dimensions, finish and delivery destination. Note any open material or design questions so they can be resolved before the quote is finalized.
