Define the surface treatment and the areas involved
Sandblasting is a surface-treatment requirement that should be tied to a named substrate, target area and acceptance description. The drawing or purchase specification should show which surfaces are treated, masked or protected and whether a measurable surface condition is required.
See the broader 표면 마감 옵션 for finish context. This page focuses on the information needed to request sandblasting for a machined metal component.
What to include in the finish scope
- Metal grade and condition.
- Surfaces to blast and any areas to mask.
- Appearance, standard or roughness requirement and how it will be measured.
- Critical dimensions or fits to check after treatment.
- Quantity, handling, inspection records and delivery destination.
A process name by itself does not define a finish result or guarantee a particular roughness. Confirm the specification and measurement method for the part. Identify any downstream coating or assembly step that affects the required condition.
Request a machining and finishing review
Send the current model and drawing revision, material, quantity, finish scope and inspection needs. List the machining and finishing requirements together so the quoted scope reflects the final part condition.
