Build an RFQ around the EV component
EV components CNC machining should be evaluated from the drawing, material, quantity and assembly context. Identify whether the request is for a prototype, design update or repeat order. Avoid broad labels such as high precision unless tied to measurable requirements.
Document fit and interface details
Show datums, mating surfaces, hole patterns, threads and connection features that matter to assembly. State material grade, finish and substitution rules. If thermal, electrical or sealing requirements affect the part, include the design limits and how acceptance will be checked.
Agree on inspection and records
List critical dimensions and specify the report format or other evidence required. Ask the supplier to confirm measurement access and process assumptions for the actual geometry. Identify outside operations and who supplies their records.
- Released model and drawing revision.
- Material, quantity and expected order pattern.
- Functional interfaces and critical dimensions.
- Surface, inspection, packaging and traceability needs.
- Required approvals or customer-specific documents.

Release the correct revision
Keep the approved drawing, quote assumptions and inspection plan aligned. Record changes before production so both parties evaluate the same part definition.
