Show the geometry a lathe service must produce
CNC lathe services are requested for parts with turned features such as diameters, shoulders, bores or threads. Provide the exact material and a current drawing and model. Identify the features that need to remain concentric or relate to a datum, if the drawing defines that requirement.
Clarify fits, threads and finish
Specify thread standard, class or other required detail where applicable. Mark mating surfaces, critical lengths, surface finish and deburring. If a secondary operation or coating follows turning, state the sequence and whether dimensions apply before or after that step.
