Prepare o pacote da peça
- Current drawing and matching model with part number and revision.
- Approved material and quantity for each part.
- Finish or secondary operations and the surfaces they apply to.
- Critical dimensions, datums, and required inspection records.
Ask for a clear price breakdown
Request that the supplier identify machining operations, setup or programming assumptions, secondary finishing, inspection, packaging, and shipping terms. A quote should state what is included and what is excluded rather than hiding gaps behind a single total.
Compare the same commercial basis
Use identical quantities, release schedule, material, finish, inspection, delivery location, and requested date when comparing offers. Check quote validity and payment or shipping terms if they matter to the purchase.
Review questions and alternatives
Ask the supplier to list unclear drawing items, proposed substitutions, or manufacturability assumptions. Any change to material, geometry, tolerance, or acceptance needs approval from the responsible design authority before it is treated as part of the quote.
Confirm the order before production
Attach the approved revision and agreed scope to the purchase order. Confirm quantity, inspection documents, packaging, and delivery schedule. Requote if the design or order conditions change.
