Structural machined parts are components whose design role relates to supporting or transferring loads in an assembly. Their suitability depends on engineering decisions about geometry, material, interfaces and operating conditions. A machining supplier should work from the approved definition; the part page cannot establish load capacity or certify performance.
Use the released design
Provide the controlled drawing and matching model, identify the revision and state which document governs. Include the specified material, condition and finish, plus any program documentation required for delivery.
Communicate functional interfaces
Show attachment features, contact surfaces, datums and dimensions that affect fit or load transfer. Share only the approved design requirements and identify the engineer who can resolve questions or authorize changes.
Define manufacturing and inspection scope
Ask the supplier to confirm included operations, outside processes, inspection characteristics and records. Any special process, certification or traceability requirement should be explicit and supported by evidence for the quoted work.
Keep design validation separate
Structural analysis, material suitability and final application approval remain with the responsible engineering organization. If a supplier proposes a change, review it with that authority before updating the order.
For general part-definition inputs, see CNC 기계 부품. For drawing and acceptance details, review CNC 가공 부품.
Prepare the order for traceability
Keep the approved drawing, material requirement, inspection plan, quote and changes together. This creates a record of what was ordered and which organization approved the design.
