Request a milled part against a controlled drawing
This page is for custom CNC-milled components. A useful request identifies the material, current design revision, quantity and features that determine fit or function. Provide the information that controls the quote
- CAD model and matching drawing revision.
- Material grade and condition.
- Critical dimensions, datums, fits and hole/thread details.
- Surface finish, deburring and secondary operations.

If a part has deep pockets, thin walls, small radii or restricted tool access, flag those features for review. Do not assume that the machine route, tolerance or finish can be determined from a keyword or model alone.
Separate requirements from preferences
Identify dimensions and finishes required for acceptance. Mark optional features or flexible design areas separately. If a requirement can be changed, specify the allowable alternative and approval process. This makes a quotation easier to compare and reduces ambiguity during production.
Send the complete part package to request a machining review. Scope, price and lead time are confirmed for the actual order.
