Preparing a China CNC Milling Parts RFQ

China CNC milling parts should be quoted from a controlled definition of the faces, pockets, holes and interfaces that matter to the design. A country phrase does not establish a supplier's location or process capability; confirm those details for the specific order.

Define the geometry and references

Provide the current drawing and model, part number and revision. Identify datums, machined faces, pockets, holes, threads and critical relationships. State which file controls if the drawing and model differ.

Call out material and acceptance requirements

Specify the material grade, quantity and finish. Mark the dimensions that affect fit or function and state how they should be checked. If an inspection report or traceability record is required, identify it in the RFQ.

Ask the supplier to state assumptions

Confirm included machining, outside processes, inspection, packaging, exclusions and quote validity. Resolve questions about geometry or design intent before approving the order. A broad promise of capability is not evidence that the specific part requirements are met.

Verify sourcing and delivery terms

Identify the contracting entity and the location of the quoted work. Agree on shipping terms, export documents and destination responsibilities, and ask who coordinates any subcontracted operation.

For the general part drawing checklist, see CNC加工部品. For broader China sourcing terms, review 中国CNC加工部品.

Compare complete quotations

Send the same revision, quantity, material, finish, acceptance criteria and delivery request to each supplier. Record any differences in scope before deciding which offer fits the project.
