Start with the part, not a broad service label
Custom CNC machining services are relevant when a part needs to be produced to a customer drawing or model. Provide the part number, current revision, material, quantity, units, and required finish. Jucheng provides machining services and does not sell CNC machines or production equipment.
Define the functional requirements
Identify mating faces, holes, bores, threads, pockets, and the dimensions that control assembly or function. State inspection records, secondary operations, packaging, or documentation required by the order. Avoid assuming that every feature needs the same tolerance or inspection scope.
Resolve manufacturability questions through the right owner
A machining supplier can review the supplied geometry and raise questions about the requested scope. The customerâs design authority should approve changes to material, geometry, tolerance, or acceptance. Send controlled revisions and clearly mark proposed changes.
Request a comparable quote
Ask suppliers to quote the same revision, material, quantity, finish, inspection, and delivery requirements. Request written assumptions and exclusions so the quote covers the intended custom part rather than an unspecified service package.
Keep production and repeat orders controlled
Confirm the agreed part revision and acceptance plan before release. For a later order, verify that quantity, schedule, material, and any design changes still match the earlier quote.
