Five-axis CNC milling for part features
5 axis CNC milling services may be relevant when a component has angled faces, multiple machining orientations or features that need to be coordinated across several sides. Whether it is the right route depends on the part geometry, material, tolerance and inspection scope. It is a machining service for customer parts, not machine-tool sales.
Show relationships between faces
Provide the model and drawing with clear datums. Dimension angled surfaces, holes, pockets and mating interfaces from the references used in the assembly. Identify which features must remain aligned and which surfaces have finish requirements. This helps the quote review focus on the geometry that matters.
Clarify material and acceptance
State the material grade, quantity and approved substitutions. Mark critical dimensions and list any inspection report, coating, masking or deburring requirements. If finishing changes a dimension, state whether acceptance applies before or after that operation.
For general five-axis project scope, see Services d'usinage CNC 5 axes. For early-stage design iterations, see prototypage CNC cinq axes.
Prepare an RFQ checklist
- Current drawing and model, with revision
- Nuance de matériau et quantité de commande
- Datum structure, angled faces and critical interfaces
- Finish, coating and inspection requirements
- Packaging, delivery and quote exclusions
Do not use a general claim such as high precision in place of a measurable tolerance. Submit the drawing and acceptance requirements for review before selecting a process route.
