Machined assembly parts are components whose requirements are shaped by their relationship to other parts. A quote package should explain the interfaces that control fit and assembly, and identify which revision of each related design is current.
Show the interface, not just the outline
Provide a controlled drawing and model where useful. Identify mounting faces, contact surfaces, holes, slots, threads, datums and clearances that affect assembly. If a mating component defines a critical relationship, include the approved interface dimensions or reference drawing.
Coordinate revisions across parts
State part numbers and drawing revisions for the components that interact. If the assembly changes, review whether the machined part or its acceptance criteria also need updating. Do not rely on an old model or uncontrolled screenshot to define fit.
Set material, finish and acceptance needs
Specify the material grade, finish and any coating requirements from the approved design. Mark fit-critical features and state how they should be checked. Any inspection report or traceability record should be requested and confirmed in the quote.
Review assembly readiness
Ask the supplier to identify unclear interfaces or dimension conflicts before production. Confirm whether the parts will be reviewed individually or as a kit, and who has authority to accept deviations.
For the general part definition, see Детали, обработанные на станках с ЧПУ. For component-specific mechanical requirements, review Механические детали для ЧПУ.
Keep assembly records together
Store the approved part drawings, interface references, inspection requirements and change history together. This gives engineering, purchasing and receiving a consistent basis for repeat assemblies.
