For China CNC turning parts, a useful RFQ starts with a controlled drawing that describes the rotational profile and acceptance requirements. The buyer should also confirm which entity is quoting and where the specified operation will take place.
Provide the profile definition
Show overall length, diameters, shoulders, grooves, bores and datums needed to define the part. Include a matching model if it helps clarify geometry and state which file controls dimensions.
Call out threads and interfaces
Specify the thread standard and size, mating diameters and surfaces that affect assembly. Identify critical features and the acceptance criteria that apply to them.
State material and finishing requirements
List the required grade and condition from the design. Identify any finish or outside process, who supplies it and whether it is included in the quote.
Confirm the sourcing scope
Ask the supplier to identify the contracting party, production location for the quoted operation, inspection records, exclusions and shipping terms. If a process is subcontracted, clarify who manages the handoff.

Сравнивайте сопоставимые предложения
Use the same drawing revision, material, quantity, inspection requirements and delivery basis with every supplier. Ask for written clarification before accepting a substitution or design change.
