Show the bore and thread location
Mark the threaded bore on the current drawing and identify its relationship to datum surfaces, nearby holes, and the part function. Include units, revision, material, quantity, and any finish or secondary operation that affects the fit.
Specify thread and bore requirements
Provide the applicable thread standard or form, nominal size, pitch, handedness, fit or class requirement, and any depth or entry details needed for the design. If a feature is not covered by a standard callout, provide dimensions and acceptance criteria on the drawing.
Connect it to the mating part
When a stud, fastener, or other component must assemble with the internal thread, share its verified specification or mating-part details. Explain which fit or engagement requirement matters and identify any access or clearance constraints.
Definir expectativas de inspeção
List any required gauge, measurement method, inspection report, or documentation in the RFQ. Ask the supplier to confirm which checks are included and how any special acceptance criterion will be recorded.
Approve against the current revision
Compare quotes using the same drawing, material, quantity, operations, finish, inspection scope, and delivery assumptions. If bore depth, thread, or mating hardware changes, issue a revised drawing and request a written scope review.
Revisar serviços de roscamento de precisão and include the bore and fit requirements in your RFQ.
