Identify the required thread form
Use the drawing to identify the ACME thread specification, dimensions, lead, handedness, fit requirement, and revision. State whether the requirement follows a named standard or a project-specific drawing. Do not rely on a broad thread label alone.
Describe the lead screw application
Provide the mating nut or component specification when available and explain the movement or fit that the assembly needs. Mark the threaded length, shoulders, reliefs, and adjacent features that affect installation or function.
Set acceptance and inspection requirements
List the acceptance criteria and any requested gauge, measurement method, or inspection record. Ask the supplier to confirm the method and scope before approving the quote, particularly when the drawing defines a custom fit or nonstandard detail.
Keep the quotation comparable
Include material, quantity, finish, drawing revision, and any secondary operations. Compare offers against the same callout and inspection scope, and clarify assumptions about packaging and delivery.
Control drawing changes
If the nut, lead, thread dimensions, or fit requirement changes, issue a revised drawing and request a new review. Keep production approval linked to the agreed revision and written acceptance criteria.
Consulte a threading service overview and include the approved drawing in your solicitação de orçamento.
