Speed up the quote review with a complete scope
Rapid 5 axis machining is often searched by buyers who need a clear path from drawing to machined part. A short review starts with a complete package, not an assumed delivery promise. Provide one current drawing and model revision, the requested quantity and the required material grade.
Resolve the details that change the quote
Mark critical dimensions, datums and multi-face features. List finish, coating, masking, deburring and any inspection report. Specify whether the quoted part is supplied before or after finishing, and identify packaging or freight requirements. If the design is still changing, label the open items so the quote does not compare different assumptions.
Compare o comparável
When reviewing supplier quotes, compare the same revision, material, quantity, post-processing and acceptance evidence. Ask each supplier to state exclusions and assumptions. A lower price or a short lead-time statement is not meaningful if the scope differs.
