This page focuses on coordinating multiple CNC machined components for an assembly or project. When sourcing components from a China-based supplier, the buyer should define each part and the relationships among them, then confirm the contracting supplier and work locations for the quoted order.
Build a component-level parts list
For each item, list the part number, drawing revision, model reference, material, quantity and finish. Distinguish components with similar names or geometry so the quote and delivery labels remain traceable.
Identify shared interfaces
Note which parts mate, share a datum or must be released together. Ensure the interface dimensions and revisions agree across the assembly package. If one component changes, review which related parts or acceptance checks may be affected.
Clarify whether the quote is a set or separate items
Ask the supplier to state pricing, included operations, inspection records, packaging and exclusions for each component. If outside processes or another supplier are involved, identify who coordinates the handoff and how completed items will be checked.
Plan identification and delivery
Specify part marking or labels if required, packaging by item or kit, shipping terms and the documents that should accompany the order. Confirm the delivery schedule and how partial shipments will be approved.
For cross-border supplier checks, see Peças usinadas em CNC na China. For a controlled drawing and quote checklist, review Peças usinadas em CNC.
Keep assembly revisions aligned
Store the parts list, drawings, quote, inspection records and changes together. Before repeat orders, verify that every component still uses the intended revision and quantity.
